I believe that everything we do in this life is about relationships. In 1903 my great-grandfather, started a mortgage company. It was during a time when a handshake used to mean something. It was a time when people didn’t need to worry about honesty, ethics, and integrity. Through four generations my family taught me that the only thing tougher than upholding ethical standards is raising them. I began my career in 1974 at Lam and Buchsbaum, Realtors. My father based his company on those same founding principles that his father and grandfather passed on to him, and in turn were passed on to me.
I joined Gateway Funding Mortgage because their philosophy, like mine, is relationship based: It is not about what is best for the company, but what is in the best interest of the customer. Homebuyer’s are looking for guidance, yet at the same time, they need to be educated in order to make an informed decision. As every mortgage needs to be tailored to the individual, I strive to provide buyer(s) with the practical knowledge and solutions that they need in order to make their own choices.
