Hello, and welcome to Real Estate Reality Radio. The most important hour of radio every Friday from 9 to 10 on WBCB 1490 am. Thank you for joining Vince and me. For those of you who are not familiar with the show I am the guy with a bow tie and a bit of an attitude and Vince is the fun affable best friend. Our show is dedicated to dispelling the myths associated with Real Estate and finance in your marketplace.
Within every market there are obstacles and solutions on the path to tremendous opportunities. Vince and I believe that most people are looking for practical advice. Please feel free to call 215-740-8999 or visit peterbuchsbaum.com.
Please join us live on the web at www.wbcb1490.com from 9:00am to 10:00 am every Friday.
So last week we were joined by Craig Lennox from LDS Inspections. This week had some interesting current events. Banks Modify 309,000 loans in an effort to satisfy the $26 billion settlement. That’s right 309,000 people got their loan balances reduced or interest rates lowered in response to the $26 billion lawsuit. And the banks said the loans were bundled so they couldn’t reduce principle. Existing Home Sales climbed 2% in October. Another indicator that the slide in real estate values has stopped. New Home sales climb as well. Maybe housing has turned the corner.
Today Vince and I wanted to use today’s show to express our appreciation of those who helped make 2012 a huge success. So a special thank you to: Dana Santangelo, June Gimber, and Mari Gates of Germantown Title. Dana and her team of people are the best I have ever experienced in almost 40 years of attending settlements. Len Garza of Premier insurance is a long time friend that makes the insurance process easy to navigate and understand. Richard and Lisa of Thornewood Farms for opening their home (and barn) to us as if it was ours. Karen Lavery and Sharyl Volpe of Living Local Magazine. Karen has made us an integral part of the magazine and Sharyl makes me look like I can actually string two sentences together. Lee Alexander, Merrill Reese, and Jim Foxwell of WBCB 1490. I was always told I had a great face for radio but those three have helped us build a great weekly show. Lets not forget our incredible bullpen of realtors. Jacki Silva, Brad Wallace, Angela Marchese, Wayne Robinson, Michelle Baurer.
Please join us live at www.wbcb1490.com for the open discussion about your local market.
In combination with CBS and WPHT 1210 am we have also been fortunate enough to have been asked to write some articles in “Local Living Magazine” to explore some of the questions you all ask us and the answers we provide. Look for your latest issue this week.
Each week we discuss the myths of the mortgage market. It is not about rate. A higher rate with no mortgage insurance may provide a lower payment.
