So last week we aired an old show with Congressman Fitzpatrick and his incredibly capable constituent advocates Katie and Kelley. This week was full of great current events: HEMAP (Home Emergency Mortgage Assistance Program) is back in business because our listeners helped by signing our petition. $66 million dollars are now available to help homeowners who are in jeopardy of losing their home. This is the quintessential homeowner assistance program. Foreclosures Spike 9% in May, One of reasons is because HEMAP was out of commission. After the $26 billion dollar settlement the banks stopped hesitating on filing foreclosure.


Today Vince and I are on our own and I need to leave early to attend a settlement. We would like to spend the next hour discussing the relationship between the real estate agent and the mortgage banker. Contrary to most this needs to be a joint effort.
