So last week we were joined by George Luciani of Capital Planning Advisory Group. .

This week the Real Estate News included Scary times for home buyers. Rates have gone up from 3.5% to 4.5%. Do I lock in? Can I still buy how much I could before. What loan is in my best interest? How do I decide what is best for me. Pay points, don’t pay points? What are pre-paids and what are closing costs? What is APR? Do I just take the lowest rate? Was my home a good investment? This was an interesting chart as to when you bought what you may have earned over time. My thought are do you buy a home to live in or as an investment?

Today Jim and I are in an open forum to discuss who do I represent the borrower or the referral source?
Please join us live at for the open discussion about maintaining control of the transaction.
In combination with CBS and WPHT 1210 am we have also been fortunate enough to have been asked to write some articles in “Local Living Magazine” to explore some of the questions you all ask us and the answers we provide. Look for your latest issue this month. For a FREE subscription please email us.

Each week we discuss the myths of the mortgage market. It is not about rate. A higher rate with no mortgage insurance may provide a lower payment.
